Alice Cooper on What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?

Alice Cooper on What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?
If it was now….Hitchcock would have been charged and likely in prison for what he did to Tippi Hedren. I applaud her for standing her ground. ❤
Dammit now i can't say it? Can i at least kneel?
Fun fact: Peter’s best performance was in the 1997 flick Ulee’s Gold
I wonder if he pulled this shit on Grace??
I love both Smoke and Blue in the Face which I saw when they came out. I haven’t seen Lulu on the Bridge. Sadly none of these films are easy to find nowadays. It’s a shame that the film d’auteur has given place to the Marvel comic heroes. Cinema now is dead.
One thing I recall in David Suchet's Poirot is the romance, he was always matchmaking or pairing up couples. And the BEAUTIFUL hats! ❤
I've read David Suchet's autobiography. Very entertaining and recommend it.
Masterpiece
General Zod is my favorite Superman character and "Superman II" is my favorite entry in the series(I remember seeing it in theaters when I was 7 years old). Love the Ken Thorne composed and conducted score(with original material composed by John Williams).
Mr Skinner to the manager's office. Manager's office, Mis-ter Skinnerrrr.
Rest in peace. What a legend.
Masterpiece of a film
Love when a man uses the word “lovely”.
Who kept watching you and staring at you? Hitchcock, or somebody else ?
What a rock star
As fine as she was no man tried to cock block Hitchcock?
Love you, Tippi. ❤❤❤❤❤ Interesting that Hitch became so obsessed with you, just as the Jimmy Stewart' character in "Vertigo".
KNEEEEL BEFORE ZOD!
Roger Corman, Vincent Price, and Edgar Allan Poe!
I love how Roger just casually mentions that Nicholas Roeg did the job of camera man for him when in England.
Interviewer is awful, I don’t care who he is, very bad form.
What is that jabook or maga

One of the best characters in television history and this guy is supernatural in the part
Was this supposed to be a celebration of Hitchcock or a personal bashing of the late director ? Remember this is the same woman who called Hitchcock a "fat pig" in front of the whole set on mamie. Now spends 15 minutes explaining victimhood. While I agree Hitchcock's supposive behavior toward her was not acceptable, he risked everything pulling a no name actor from a TV commercial, putting her in a starring role. She basically owes all her fame to this guy. Doesn't make it right what she accused Hitchcock of doing but her tell all book was the first clue of retaliation in the form of money and spite.
That's so funny he'd mention the chocolate vending machine. Whenever I talked to my friends about this film I'd say the only truly unbelievable thing about it was that the vending machine was actually working. I remember the early 80s London and it was a shithole , everything was smashed up and broken.
I love all his Poe films but I think "Masque of the Red Death" is his masterpiece.
RIP Roger. It’s amazing how, at that age, he is so deliberate and well spoken. He never stumbles over words, never uses filler words like “um” or “uh”, and doesn’t even have to stop and remember any of what he’s talking about. His memory is so vivid and he remembers the name of all his collaborators from half a century ago.
Eloquent af.

Sad to hear of his loss. A mammoth in cinema. RIP legend.
🫡😑🙏🏻👼🏻😢😪
Great movie. I saw it today, trying somehow to honor Paul Auster. The script is so good that you realize it was written by a master. And now having the chance to listen about the genesis of how Paul got involved in the film, about the original Christmas story, the creative process together with the movie director, the involvement of Robert Altman. Hell I love UA-cam for having all this available just instantly. It is a complete pleasure and learning. Thank you!
Oh, stop blubbering and come on in. GREAT MOVIE , I LOVE IT, I OWN IT. i filled out the form 4 to get it.
Hitchcock was known to use techniques to scare and make actors cry. I believe he did this with her..but obviously went too far. The Birds always had an edgy feeling to it...that was his goal.
IN A FEW WORDS WONDERFULLY REASSURING THAT THERE IS STILL DEDICATION TO ONES RESPONSIBILITY TO KEEP FAITH WITH TRUST THAT IS GRANTED ONE
i'll assume 90% of people clicked on this video expecting something else. based cillian spotlighting a forgotten gem like this one
As Italian I already knew how Ruperet Everet was a smart intellectual other than a so talented actor. He fully shows exaclty the meaning , the unique quality of this masterpiece movie of Soavi : the two movie and director still so underrasted ! Just it neded to poit out from foregners viewers : the movie developpes different plane and its own aestetic Fellini , Argento , Poe ...Soavi but it can been enjoyed without reading the cartoon of Sclavi ( anyway amazing ) .
I love this interview and as someone who has several female and male relatives who are now retired...I can say they told me this was very accurate and not too overtly dramatized. ALL of them were NYPD... including brass. 😉💜😎
Lacey has such a great❤❤❤ sense of humor!
dude.
Peter Fonda is one of those actors who gets better and better with the passing of the years. Check out “Ulee’s Gold” for a fine, understated but in the end satisfying performance. Even better is 1999’s “The Limey,” one of the most enjoyable revenge films ever - way ahead of the current crop from Denzel and Keanu. Stamp engages the audience immediately as a man whose amiable veneer barely covers the danger he emanates. In an Oscar-worthy character role, Peter Fonda plays a retired record industry executive whose recollections of the 60s peace and love generation resonate so deeply with this ex-flower child. If Fonda intrigues you, a must-see.
"And the sonic screwdriver... I dream about it still." LOL!
Mr David Suchet is an amazing personality, himself... That's why we all did fall in love with the character. I am so grateful for the series. To my mind, they are un chef- d'oeuvre de la cinematographie... as Hercule Poirot would say...
I have NO malice against her and liked her in the Birds & Marnie.... She discussed many, many, many, many times about this exclusive $500 wkly contract she signed. Her career stalled b/c Hitchcock would not allow her to work for another studio since she would not entertain him sexually. I take her tale with a grain of salt b/c how/why would she be dumb enough to sign a contract w/o legal representation. The contract was too egregious to be enforceable. It did not account for inflation, it had NO end date, it contained NO allowances (Hitchcock would star her in a min of 1 pic per year at a Salary of X). If she had legal representation, she could claim misrepresentation. There is NO entertainment attorney on the planet that would have allowed her to sign such an egregious contract!!!
She single-handedly put Americans out of the nail business.
I think this is the first negative take on Hitchcock I have ever seen or heard. I am glad she went public with it.
Wonderful interview
This film is an ingenious one. It gets better every time you watch it.
